Every route tells a story worth preserving
We transform GPS data and athletic effort into contemporary framed keepsakes. Each piece honors the dedication behind the distance.

Why this exists
The idea started simply: after months of training for a century ride, the digital kudos felt insufficient. A screenshot of Strava couldn't capture what those miles meant.
So we asked: what if the route itself could become an artifact? What if GPS data, elevation profiles, and the shape of effort could be transformed into something physical—something worthy of a wall?
That question became TapiKat. We craft route artifacts for cyclists, runners, hikers, and endurance athletes who want more than a medal or a finisher shirt. We believe the effort deserves something permanent.
What makes a route worth preserving?
Not every ride needs a frame. But some do. The first century. The marathon you trained six months for. The climb that taught you what you're capable of. The route where you scattered ashes or proposed or finished something you started years ago.
We're not here to celebrate every Strava upload. We're here for the ones that matter. The routes that changed you.
Craft and design philosophy
Every artifact begins with authentic route data. We don't generate decorative shapes—we visualize the actual path you took, with real elevation, real terrain, real GPS coordinates.
From there, our design team crafts compositions that balance cartographic accuracy with visual elegance. We consider scale, negative space, typography, and color palette to create pieces that feel both personal and gallery-worthy.
Materials matter. We use archival papers, museum-quality matting, and premium frames built to last. These aren't posters—they're artifacts built for decades.

From data to object
The process is collaborative but simple. You share your route data—a GPX file or a link to your activity. We design. You receive a detailed proof. Request revisions until it's perfect. Only then do we produce.
For complex pieces—multi-route collections, memorabilia integration, or event editions—we offer complimentary design consultations. We want to understand what the route means to you so we can capture it properly.
Who this is for
Athletes who train. People who understand that distance costs something. Runners who know their PR splits. Cyclists who track elevation gain. Hikers who log trail miles. Triathletes who measure everything.
And the people who love them—looking for a gift that acknowledges the work, not just the finish line.
